Expand your business in France
If you, as an overseas company, wish to carry out business activities in France, you must first choose between two options.
- Having a standard business PO Box
- Being or becoming a legal entity in France
The PoBox option doesn't require legal registration.
But a legal entity must be registered with organisations such as Chambre de Commerce, Chambre des Métiers, URSSAF, greffe by yourself directly or your local French agent.
In both cases, CDV French Office provides an address for your office- just make your choice during the sign up process.
Business PO Box
Having a business PO Box gives you a presence in France.
This representative office is established as the location for receiving mail, parcels management or call answering.
You are not permitted to use your PO Box address when editing the invoices of your sales activities.
Having a PO Box is like having a representative office. It does not require formal registration but you will not be able to open a bank account in the business's trading name.
All our monthly plans include a business address, there is no need to suscribe for an extra option unless you need a legal and registered address (for that see below in this page).
Branch Office or French Entity
If you represent a Foreign company wishing to engage in continuous transactions in France, you must register it in the country.
You will need to register the establishment of a branch office or an independant French entity.
With CDV French Address your branch office in France can begin business operations as soon as the company representative is chosen, and the necessary information registered.
Any French registered entity may open bank accounts, edit invoices and earn revenue.
To get the registered French address, you have to select an option during the sign up process.
How to register your French entity?
First of all, you should sign the specific CDV French Office agreement which will provide you with a legal address.
Procedures for establishing a branch office or a French entity after the address creation are available from the relevant Chambers of Commerce.
This can be done by your own representative (but you have to come to France) or by a local registered agent (a business attorney or an accountant).
French Local Agent
A representative agent will help you select the appropriate set up for your business, be it artisan, profession libérale, SAS or SARL or transforming the statute of your entreprise.
He will deal with the various administrations and administrative requirements, he can submit VAT and other social contributions. He may prepare your costings and management accounts.
Technically, the role of the agent is restricted to administrative functions in return for a fee.
The appointment of the agent is effected through a written agreement, which must be signed by the parties.
There is no prescribed form of agreement and it will therefore be a matter for negotiation.
CDV French Office is not a local registered agent.
But we work with many of them as they never propose French mailing addresses.
A registered address In Paris or near Grenoble
CDV French Office offers the registered address you are looking for. We have an address in the South East of France (near Grenoble -38350) and an other one in PARIS.
